Which counties go to the Orlando office
USCIS assigns every ZIP code to one field office. In its own data file (August 28, 2026 edition), 293 active ZIP codes in nine Central Florida counties are assigned to Orlando.
Entirely assigned to this office, 6 counties:
- Brevard
- Lake
- Orange
- Osceola
- Seminole
- Sumter
Split ZIP code by ZIP code. Only ZIP codes with a residential area count here; P.O.-box and institutional ZIP codes are listed apart:
- Mostly hereFlagler: 3 of 4 residential ZIP codes go to this office; 1 to Jacksonville.
- Mostly hereMarion: 26 of 28 residential ZIP codes go to this office; 2 to Jacksonville.
- Mostly hereVolusia: 22 of 26 residential ZIP codes go to this office; 4 to Jacksonville.
Three of them are split with the Jacksonville field office, ZIP code by ZIP code, and most of each still goes to Orlando: Volusia (Daytona Beach), Marion (Ocala) and Flagler (Palm Coast, Bunnell). Two surprises on the map: Polk County (Lakeland, Winter Haven) belongs to the Tampa office, and Alachua County (Gainesville) to Jacksonville. Your notice always wins over any list, this one included: USCIS can transfer a case to balance the workload.
Orlando's citizenship line
USCIS publishes how many naturalization applications (Form N-400) each office has waiting. On June 30, 2026, Orlando was 20th of 93 offices.
| Field office | N-400 pending, Jun 30, 2026 | Rank of 93 | Decisions approved |
|---|---|---|---|
| Orlando | 13,964 | 20th | 75% (910 of 1,216) |
| Houston | 31,057 | 1st | 91% |
| Dallas | 28,662 | 2nd | 92% |
| Chicago | 23,623 | 3rd | 77% |
| Atlanta | 17,300 | 11th | 80% |
| All offices | 742,138 | — | 82% |
In USCIS's table (April 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026), Orlando received 2,509 naturalization applications and decided 1,216, approving 910 (75%) against 82% for all offices. For every application it decided, Orlando received 2.1; its line is less than half of Houston's (13,964 against 31,057), but the share approved is below the national figure. That's the office's record, not a forecast for any one case. USCIS accepts the N-400 up to 90 days before you reach the residence requirement. For today's wait, read USCIS's processing-time tool the day you file.

Before your interview
- OfficialYour notice decides. Form I-797C has the address, the time and the documents to bring. The field office, the support center and the asylum offices are in different places: use the one on your notice.
- OfficialLawyers attend in person. Since May 18, 2026 your attorney or accredited representative can't join by phone or video, except in limited cases. USCIS field offices page.
- OfficialSpanish documents need a certified translation (8 CFR 103.2(b)(3)): how to do it right. An interpreter, if you need one, signs Form G-1256 in front of the officer.
- WarningUSCIS appointments are free: anyone who sells you one is running a scam (report it at 800-375-5283), and a notario can't advise you. If you have no notice and need an appointment, the step-by-step is in the Houston guide.
Biometrics: the Orlando support center
Fingerprints, photo and signature are taken at an Application Support Center (ASC). USCIS assigns one by ZIP code and prints it on your biometrics notice: you can't choose. Almost every ZIP code of the Orlando office goes to the Orlando center; a few in Flagler County (Bunnell, Palm Coast) go to Jacksonville.
| Center | Address | ZIP codes assigned |
|---|---|---|
| Orlando, FL | 5828 South Semoran Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32822 | ZIP codes assigned: 290 |
| Jacksonville, FL | 4121 Southpoint Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32216-0930 | ZIP codes assigned: 3 |
Bring the notice and a valid photo ID. To reschedule for a good reason, use your USCIS online account at least 12 hours before, or call 800-375-5283. Missing biometrics without rescheduling can get your application denied.
Your asylum interview is in Miami or Tampa, not Orlando
USCIS has no asylum office in Orlando. In its ZIP file, 245 ZIP codes of the Orlando field office (Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, most of Lake and Volusia) go to the Miami Asylum Office, 1501 Biscayne Boulevard, Suite 300, Miami, FL 33132 (786-456-2900); see the Miami field office guide. 48 ZIP codes (parts of Marion, Sumter, Volusia, Flagler and Lake) go to the Tampa Asylum Office, 3924 Coconut Palm Drive, Tampa, FL 33619, by appointment only; since April 20, 2026 it gives no in-person information, so write to Tampa-Asylum@uscis.dhs.gov. Your asylum notice says which. If you're Venezuelan and lost TPS, read why the asylum deadline is running.
